Cigar City Brewing - a Tampa Original

Cigar City Brewing has been a Tampa, FL since 2009 and the Spruce Street Taproom unveiled a major renovation a few years ago.

The vibe is still ’’brewery”, but it’s also almost equally “restaurant“. They still have the brewery tours and the huge bar are, but they have added outside seating and converted one area to table seating.

They really did a great job and we know they sure need the space since lots a packed house during peak hours. We snapped these before the lunch rush.

The huge craft beer menu has exclusive brews you won’t find outside the taproom.

Our craft beer choices today were- Fancy Papers - Hazy IPA 6.5% ABV 60 IBU 18 oz pour. We love the glass too! Pineapple Tangerine Jai Alai - IPA w/Pineapple & Tangerine 7% ABV 65 IBU 10 oz pour

Cigar City’s Taproom has quite an impressive food menu and takes some twists on American classics.

Portions are huge and Sharable menu items are definitely for 2 or more people.

Hummus - Cilantro, lime, red pepper, pico de gallo, fried cumin pita

Crispy Boys - Wings in buffalo, whiskey bbq, dry rub lemon pepper, blackened, sweet chili, or Cuban buffalo with celery- Served with blue cheese or buttermilk ranch

Croquestas - Pork belly, cheddar, potato, pickled mustard seed, hot sauce

Tampa Chicharrones - Pork belly, bbq glaze, pickle spear, ranch dressing

After you finish enjoying their craft beer and food, don’t forget to stop by the swag shop. They have to-go beer, T-shirt’s, glasses, coolers, and all kind of fun stuff.
