Atlas Pizza - Grand Opening South Tampa

Hey Tampa pizza lovers, Atlas Gourmet Pizza is FINALLY open in South Tampa. At today’s Grand Opening, I met the owner Graham who gave me a quick tour of his new pizzeria.

Graham said Tampa’s permit department had a five-month backlog which delayed their opening. Now finally open, you’d never recognize the completely renovated space that was formerly a Subway.

Ordering online was easy with ApplePay or they take walk-in orders at the counter. Delivery will be soon with DoorDash or their own drivers.

Tonight we ordered the “The York” a 12-inch, red sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni, sausage, bacon pizza for $17.

Also ordered the dozen chicken wings baked dry rub for $14.50.

I think I lucked out and might have got a Baker’s dozen tonight. Shhhhh.

Atlas Pizza makes their dough fresh daily as well as all of their sauces and dressings and Graham said next time to definitely try the 1924 salad - a Romain Caesar salad or the Atlas salad goat cheese and prosciutto. Loved the Ranch dressing.

Graham plans to add deep dish pizzas to the menu as well as a bunch of sandwiches. He currently has an assortment of Dr. Brown‘s Gourmet Soda flavors.
